Suhaia is a commune located in Teleorman County within the Muntenia region of Romania. The administrative area consists primarily of the single village of Suhaia.
The commune's composition was modified in 2004 when the village of Fântânele was split off to establish its own separate commune. Prior to this reorganization, Fântânele was included as part of the Suhaia administrative territory.
