Islaz is a commune situated in southern Romania within the southwestern region of Teleorman County. Located approximately 10 km (6.2 mi) west of Turnu Măgurele, the commune is part of the historical province of Oltenia.
The administrative area of Islaz is composed of two villages: Islaz and Moldoveni.
