Valea Moldovei is a commune situated in the Bukovina region of northeastern Romania, within Suceava County. The administrative area is primarily composed of two villages: Mironu and Valea Moldovei.
Historically, the commune included the village of Capu Câmpului. However, this village was split off to form its own separate commune in 2003, following its inclusion in Valea Moldovei from 1968 until that time.
