Vadu Moldovei is a commune situated in Suceava County within the Western Moldavia region of Romania. The administrative area is composed of eight distinct villages: Cămârzani, Ciumulești, Dumbrăvița, Ioneasa, Mesteceni, Movileni, Nigotești, and Vadu Moldovei.
The current composition of the commune was established following a territorial reorganization in 2003. During that year, four villages were separated from Vadu Moldovei to form the independent Fântâna Mare Commune.
