Straja is an Eastern European ski and snowboarding resort located in the Vâlcan Mountains of the Southern Carpathians. It is situated at an elevation of 1,440 meters (4,720 feet) within the Jiu Valley region of Hunedoara County, Romania.
The site was officially declared a resort in 2002. It serves as a destination for winter sports activities, specifically catering to skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts in the region.
