Liteni is a town located in Suceava County in northeastern Romania. It is situated within the historical region of Western Moldavia and serves as an urban settlement with a population of 8,878 inhabitants, according to the 2021 census.
The locality was officially declared a town in 2004, alongside seven other localities in Suceava County. Liteni currently ranks as the ninth-largest urban settlement in the county and administers five surrounding villages: Corni, Roșcani, Rotunda, Siliștea, and Vercicani.
