Ilișești is a commune situated in Suceava County within the Bukovina region of northeastern Romania. The administrative area currently consists of two villages: Brașca and Ilișești.
Historically, the commune was known as Ciprian Porumbescu and included the villages of Bălăceana and Ciprian Porumbescu. These two villages were subsequently split off in 2004 to establish their own separate communes.
