Horodnic de Sus is a commune situated in Suceava County within the historical region of Bukovina in northeastern Romania. The administrative area consists of a single village, which shares the same name as the commune.
The locality was historically an independent commune until 1950, at which point it became a village under the jurisdiction of Horodnic Commune. In 2003, Horodnic de Sus was officially separated to establish itself as a distinct commune again, while the original village was renamed Horodnic de Jos.
