Horodnic de Jos is a commune located in Suceava County within the Bukovina region of northeastern Romania. It currently consists of a single village, which shares its name with the commune.
The administrative history of the area involved a reorganization between 1950 and 2003. During this period, it was known as Horodnic commune and included both the villages of Horodnic de Jos and Horodnic de Sus. Following the separation of Horodnic de Sus into its own independent commune, the remaining entity was renamed Horodnic de Jos.
