Frasin

Romania

Frasin is a town located in mountainous northeastern Romania within Suceava County. It sits in the historical regions of Bukovina and Western Moldavia.

The settlement was officially declared a town in 2004, alongside seven other localities in the county. As of the 2021 census, Frasin is the thirteenth-largest urban settlement in Suceava County with a population of 5,817 residents. The town currently administers the former villages of Bucșoaia, Doroteia, and Plutonița.
