Valea Viilor is a commune situated in the Sibiu County region of Transylvania, Romania. The municipality has a population of 1,962 residents and is composed of two distinct villages: Motiș and Valea Viilor.
The area is historically significant for its long-standing habitation by Transylvanian Saxons. Both the village of Motiș and the village of Valea Viilor feature their own fortified churches, which serve as notable architectural landmarks within the commune.
