Șeica Mare is a commune situated in Sibiu County within the Transylvania region of Romania. It serves as an administrative division composed of six distinct villages: Boarta, Buia, Mighindoala, Petiș, Șeica Mare, and Ștenea.
Historically, the area included the village of Calvaser. However, during the late 20th century, Calvaser was officially absorbed by the village of Șeica Mare.
