Orlat is a commune located in the Transylvania region of Romania. Situated within Sibiu County, it is positioned approximately 17 kilometers (11 miles) west of the county capital, Sibiu.
The commune consists of a single village, also named Orlat. It is situated specifically within the Mărginimea Sibiului ethnographic area.
