Copșa Mică is a town located in the Sibiu County of Transylvania, Romania. Geographically, it is situated north of Sibiu and lies approximately 33 km east of Blaj and 12 km southwest of Mediaș.
The town serves as a point along the Via Transilvanica, which is a long-distance hiking trail that traverses the region. It is positioned within the historical and cultural landscape of eastern Transylvania.
