Sanislău is a commune located in the Satu Mare County of Romania. It currently has a population of 4,986 inhabitants.
The administrative area of the commune is composed of three villages: Horea (Károlyipuszta), Marna Nouă (Újmárna), and Sanislău. Prior to 2004, the territory also included the villages of Ciumești, Berea, and Viișoara; however, these were separated in that year to form the independent Ciumești commune.
