Căuaș is a commune located in the Crișana region of Satu Mare County, Romania. It currently has a population of 2,259 inhabitants.
The administrative area of the commune is composed of six distinct villages: Ady Endre, Căuaș, Ghenci (Gencs), Ghilești (Illéd), Hotoan (Érhatvan), and Rădulești (Újtanya).
