Botiz is a commune located in the Satu Mare County of Romania. It currently consists of a single village, which shares the name Botiz.
The administrative boundaries of the commune have changed over time. Until 2004, the territory included the villages of Agriș and Ciuperceni; however, these two locations were separated from Botiz in that year to form the independent Agriș Commune.
