Șimișna is a commune situated in Sălaj County within the Transylvania region of Romania. The administrative area consists of two villages: Hășmaș (also known as Alsóhagymás) and Șimișna.
Historically, these two villages were part of the Rus Commune. They were officially split off to form their own independent commune in 2002.
