Jibou is a town located in Sălaj County within the Transylvania region of Romania. As of 2021, the municipality had a recorded population of 9,677 residents.
The administrative area of Jibou encompasses the town proper as well as four surrounding villages: Rona, Cuceu (Kucsó), Husia (Hosszúújfalu), and Var (Szamosőrmező).
