Băbeni is a town located in Vâlcea County, Romania. Situated within the historical region of Oltenia, it was officially elevated to the status of a town in 2002.
The administrative area of Băbeni encompasses six surrounding villages: Bonciu, Capu Dealului, Pădurețu, Români, Tătărani, and Valea Mare.
