Filipeștii de Târg is a commune located in Prahova County within the Muntenia region of Romania. The administrative area is composed of three distinct villages: Brătășanca, Filipeștii de Târg, and Mărginenii de Jos.
Historically, the locality held the status of a town until 1950, at which point it was reclassified as a commune.
