Bucov is a commune located in Prahova County within the Muntenia region of Romania. The settlement is situated just east of Ploiești, which serves as the county seat.
The commune is composed of five distinct villages: Bighilin, Bucov, Chițorani, Pleașa, and Valea Orlei.
