Osica de Jos is a commune located in Olt County within the historical region of Oltenia in Romania. The administrative area consists of two villages: Bobu and Osica de Jos.
The commune was established in 2004 following the separation of these villages from Dobrun. In local parlance, the village is frequently referred to as Osica Mică to distinguish it from the larger neighboring village of Osica Mare, also known as Osica de Sus.
