Orlea is a commune located in Olt County within the Oltenia region of Romania. The administrative area currently consists of two villages: Orlea and Orlea Nouă.
Historically, the territory included the villages of Gura Padinii and Satu Nou. However, these two locations were split off from Orlea in 2004 to form their own separate entity known as the Gura Padinii Commune.
