Găvănești is a commune located in Olt County within the Oltenia region of Romania. It serves as an administrative division composed of four distinct villages: Băleasa, Broșteni, Dâmburile, and Găvănești.
The commune was established in 2004 when these four villages were split off from the former Baldovinești Commune.
