Baldovinești is a commune located in Olt County within the Oltenia region of Romania. The administrative area is currently composed of three distinct villages: Baldovinești, Gubandru, and Pietriș.
The commune's current boundaries were established following a reorganization in 2004. During this time, four other villages were separated from the jurisdiction of Baldovinești to form the neighboring Găvănești Commune.
