Târnăveni is a city located in Mureș County, situated in the central region of Transylvania, Romania. The city is positioned along the Târnava Mică River.
The administrative area of Târnăveni includes three villages: Bobohalma (Bábahalma), Botorca (Őrhegy), and Cuștelnic (Csüdőtelke). Notably, Cuștelnic was previously part of the Gănești Commune until 2002.
