Raciu is a commune located in Dâmbovița County within the Muntenia region of Romania. It serves as an administrative division composed of three distinct villages: Raciu, Siliștea, and Șuța Seacă.
The current administrative status of the commune was established in 2004 when these three villages were split off from the Lucieni Commune to re-establish a separate entity. Prior to this reorganization, the area functioned as part of Lucieni between 1968 and 2004.
