Măgherani is a commune located in the Transylvania region of Romania, within Mureș County. It is composed of three distinct villages: Măgherani, Șilea Nirajului (Nyárádselye), and Torba (Torboszló).
The administrative boundaries of the commune were modified in 2004 when Bereni and six other villages separated from Măgherani to establish an independent commune.
