Gănești is a commune located in Mureș County within the Transylvania region of Romania. The administrative area is composed of four distinct villages: Gănești, Păucișoara (also known as Küküllőpócsfalva), Seuca (Szőkefalva), and Sub Pădure (Erdőalja).
Historically, the commune included the village of Cuștelnic. However, this village was officially transferred to the city of Târnăveni in 2002.
