Chețani is a commune located in Mureș County within the Transylvania region of Romania. As of the 2002 census, the commune had a recorded population of 2,857 residents.
The administrative area of Chețani is composed of seven distinct villages: Chețani, Coasta Grindului (Berekszéle), Cordoș (Kardos), Giurgiș (Györgyed), Grindeni (Gerendkeresztúr), Hădăreni (Hadrév), and Linț (Lincitanyák).
