Tamna is a city located on Jeju Island in South Korea. Historically, it functioned as a kingdom that existed from ancient times until its eventual integration into the Joseon dynasty.
Throughout its history, Tamna served as an autonomous administrative region or a tributary state to various Korean kingdoms. It was officially absorbed by the Joseon dynasty in 1404.
