Vișeu de Sus is a town located in Maramureș County, Romania. Situated at the confluence of the Vișeu and Vaser rivers, the town covers an area of 443 km² (171 sq mi) and had a population of 15,349 as of 2021.
The municipality administers one village, known as Vișeu de Mijloc (Középvisó). The town is most notably recognized for the Mocăniță.
