Seini is a town located in Maramureș County, Romania. It serves as an administrative center for two villages, which are identified as Săbișa (Kissebespatak) and Viile Apei (Apahegy).
The settlement officially attained its status as a town in 1989. This designation was the result of the Romanian rural systematization program.
