Săcălășeni is a commune located in Maramureș County, Romania. The administrative area currently consists of three distinct villages: Coruia (Karuly), Culcea (Kővárkölcse), and Săcălășeni.
Historically, the commune's boundaries were larger; from 1968 to 2004, it included four additional villages. These areas were subsequently separated to form the independent communes of Coaș and Coltău.
