Bocicoiu Mare is a commune located in the Maramureș County of northern Romania. It serves as a rural administrative division within the region.
The commune is situated approximately 9 kilometres east of Sighetu Marmației. Geographically, it lies across the Tisza River from Velykyy Bychkiv, which is located in Ukraine.
