Ardusat is a commune located in the western region of Maramureș County, Romania. It is situated along the banks of the Someș River, positioned near the border with Satu Mare County.
The first historical record of Ardusat dates back to 1230. The commune is composed of three distinct villages: Ardusat, Arieșu de Câmp (also known as Mezőaranyos), and Colțirea (also known as Kolcér).
