Tibaná is a town and municipality located in the Department of Boyacá in Colombia. It is situated within the Márquez Province subregion on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense at an elevation of 2,115 metres (6,939 ft). The urban center of the municipality is positioned approximately 38 kilometres (24 mi) from Tunja, which serves as the department capital.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring areas. It is bordered by Jenesano to the north, and Ramiriquí and Chinavita to the east. To the south, it borders Chinavita and Úmbita, while Turmequé and Nuevo Colón lie to the west.
