Șipote is a commune located in the western part of the historical region of Moldavia in Romania. It is situated within Iași County.
The administrative area of the commune is composed of six distinct villages: Chișcăreni, Hălceni, Iazu Nou, Iazu Vechi, Mitoc, and Șipote.
