Munteni-Buzău is a commune located in Ialomița County within the Muntenia region of Romania. It consists of a single village, also named Munteni-Buzău, and serves as a rural locality situated approximately 89 kilometers (55 miles) from the capital city of Bucharest.
The commune is positioned along the European highway E60. As of 2021, it had a population of 2,936 people. It is bordered by the town of Căzănești and the Sărățeni commune.
