Dridu is a commune situated in Ialomița County within the Muntenia region of Romania. The administrative area currently consists of two villages: Dridu and Dridu-Snagov.
Historically, the territory included the village of Moldoveni. However, this village was separated from the commune in 2005 to establish its own independent entity known as Moldoveni Commune.
