Armășești is a commune situated in the Muntenia region of Romania, specifically within Ialomița County. The administrative area is composed of three distinct villages: Armășești, Malu Roșu, and Nenișori.
Historically, the commune included the village of Bărbulești as part of its territory. However, this changed in 2006 when Bărbulești was officially split off to establish itself as a separate independent commune.
