Vețel is a commune located in Hunedoara County within the Transylvania region of Romania. It serves as an administrative division composed of ten distinct villages.
The constituent villages of the commune include Boia Bârzii (Bojabirz), Bretelin (Brettyelin), Căoi (Káun), Herepeia, Leșnic (Lesnyek), Mintia, Muncelu Mare (Nagymuncsel), Muncelu Mic (Kismuncsel), Runcu Mic (Erdőhátrunk), and Vețel.
