Certeju de Sus is a commune located in the Hunedoara County of Transylvania, Romania. It serves as an administrative division within the region's rural landscape.
The commune is composed of nine distinct villages: Bocșa Mare (Boksatelep), Bocșa Mică, Certeju de Sus, Hondol, Măgura-Toplița (Magura), Nojag (Nozság), Săcărâmb, Toplița Mureșului (Toplica), and Vărmaga (Vormága).
