Corund is a commune located in Harghita County, Romania. It is situated within the Székely Land, an ethno-cultural region in eastern Transylvania, specifically within the area known as the "Salt Region."
The commune is composed of five distinct villages: Atia (Atyha), Calonda (Kalonda), Corund (Korond), Fântâna Brazilor (Fenyőkút), and Valea lui Pavel (Pálpataka).
