Tismana is a town located in Gorj County within the Oltenia region of Romania. It serves as an administrative center for ten surrounding villages, which include Celei, Costeni, Gornovița, Isvarna, Pocruia, Racoți, Sohodol, Topești, Vâlcele, and Vânăta.
