Andreești is a village located within the commune of Vladimir in Gorj County, situated in the Oltenia region of Romania. It is one of four villages that comprise the municipality, alongside Frasin, Valea Deșului, and Vladimir.
The area is notable for its historical significance as the birthplace of Tudor Vladimirescu. A Romanian revolutionary hero and leader of the Wallachian uprising of 1821, Vladimirescu's birthplace in the neighboring village of Vladimir has been preserved as a museum.
