Vârlezi is a commune located in the western part of the historical region of Moldavia in Romania. It is situated within Galați County and serves as a rural administrative division.
The commune consists of two villages, Crăiești and Vârlezi. As of recent data, it has a population of 2,204 people, the majority of whom practice Orthodox Christianity.
