Negoi is a commune located in the Oltenia region of Romania, situated within Dolj County. The administrative area currently has a population of approximately 4,286 people.
The commune consists of a single village named Negoi. Historically, the territory included the villages of Catane and Catanele Noi; however, these two settlements were separated from Negoi in 2004 to form their own independent administrative unit known as Catane Commune.
