Murgași is a commune located in Dolj County within the Oltenia region of Romania. As of 2021, the commune has a recorded population of 2,191 people.
The administrative area of Murgași is composed of eight distinct villages: Balota de Jos, Balota de Sus, Bușteni, Gaia, Murgași, Picăturile, Rupturile, and Velești.
